PUBLIC NOTICE - Unauthorized and Misleading Mailings to Residents
The Village of Theresa has been made aware that some residents in Theresa and surrounding municipalities are receiving unsolicited mailings that appear to be spam or misleading solicitation letters.
These letters are not sent by the Village of Theresa, nor are they associated with any official Village services, projects, or communications.
What Residents Should Know:
- The Village of Theresa will always send official notices on Village letterhead and through recognized channels (U.S. Mail, Village website, or posted at Village Hall).
- If you are uncertain whether a mailing is legitimate, please contact Village Hall directly at 920-488-5421 or by email at [email protected] or [email protected].
- Do not provide personal, financial, or banking information in response to suspicious mailings.
- If you believe you have received fraudulent material, you may also report it to the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office or the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection (DATCP) Consumer Protection Hotline at 1-800-422-7128.
